Default What can I fill my racking tube with to begin racking?

I dont have a sipphon starter.

Can I use star san solution or vodka or something? Or should I just use boiled water?

Use whatever water/sanitizer solution you're using to sanitize things. I always have either a bucket or sink filled w/ sanitizing water whenever I do anything related to brewing/racking/bottling, etc. Then fill it w/ this sanitizing water. drain into some other item to start the siphon until beer comes out, then stop the flow w/ a pinch or the like, and move it to the second container.

I fill mine with tap water, drain it into a bowl until the beer starts flowing, then move over to whatever I'm racking to.

I used to use starsan, prior to getting an autosiphon. That was the best $8 i ever spent.

What ever you do, make sure what you use is "no rinse", don't use bleach water.
