Trappist style differences?
I've been looking into Trappist styles and have to admit I'm a little confused about the difference between dubbels, tripels, and quadrupels. It seems that dubbels are strong brown-style ales, tripels are strong pale ales, and quads are very strong dark ales?

that's essentially it, but read up in the BJCP style guide and if you really wanna dig in, read Brew Like A Monk, it's a great book.

I agree with android. The book brew like a monk help me understand the Trappist styles of beer.
