Default too long to ferment

My beer has been sitting in a primary for almost 5 weeks now. I ordered a bottle capper and the deal fell through, so I was stuck without any alternative but to let the beer set for an extra two weeks. the beer is an ale fermented with a white labs pacific ale yeast, a pitchable. I'm just wondering what this is going to do to the end result of my beer?

Zion Brewing

Primary: Knight-N-Gale Ale

You're fine...many of us leave our beers in primary as a matter of course. It makes for really clear beer....

Whats gonna happen? You're going to have one hell of a fine beer on your hands! Don't give it out to friends unless you want them coming back for more.
