Default Thick head...

My nelsons revenge is 17 days into a keg and i've had about 7 pints and when i had 2 pints the last time(xmas night)it gave me a thick head like i've had 10 pints is this just normal for homebrew?

Normally it takes 3 or 4 pints to get a thick head like 10 pints.
