Default Tap water vs filtered vs bottled

Where I live Gold mining is the primary industry and the ground water here is full of metals and minerals. I use a reverse osmosis filtration system to filter my drinking water. It removes just about everything in the water. My guess is it probably leaves the water approximately like distilled water. Should i use it, condition it or buy bottled water and if I conditioned it what would i need to add.

Reverse Osmosis does indeed remove many of the minerals needed by the Yeast to stay healthy. One thing you could do is add the minerals and salts back or you could use Spring water. The minerals and salts that you would add to your water would depend on the type of beer you are brewing.
