Success!

I'm drinking my first bottle of mature homebrew ever, an IPA. Yeah - it may be a bit overly hoppy, weak on the malts and a bit cloudier than I would have liked, but I made it!

I'd like to thank all the veteran homebrewers from this site for giving me invaluable knowledge, as well as the noobs (like me) for asking all kinds of questions that need to be asked. My sophomore attempt is in secondary right now. I think I'm going to need an additional job to fuel my newest addiction.

Everything is splendid in this Dayton, OH basement.

Looks to me like you drank more than just youre first bottle. I know from personal experience I don't usually start loving strangers til my 7th or 8th bottle. It's hard to not make a beer every weekend, enjoy.

Man! You're telling me! This past weekend was my second weekend without brewing since I started back in June, and I feel like I'm getting withdraw symptoms.
