air, light and heat will damage hops.
so keep em sealed and air-tight, away from sunlight or strong artificial lighting, and cool. fridge temps should be fine for many months.
date your hops so you make sure you use the oldest stock first. with the hop shortage right now you may end up buying more hops of types you already have just because you could find them.
