Default sticky request

since we've seen about 10 of the same questions lately, can someone put together a 'basic equipment' package sticky, maybe even include an intermediate type package?

i swear i've seen this same question about 'what should i get for my first kit' about 10 times in the last 2 weeks. I know it comes with the influx of xmas hobbyists, but i figured it would be helpful.

This could apply to a number of frequently asked questions. Perhaps they could be added to the FAQ sticky in this forum. Of course, people would have to bother to look there.

Well... a person can work up a mean, mean thirst after a hard day of nothing much at all.

This kind of an area is the best place for survival because you do have good, basically intelligent, hard working, decent people and they're all armed to the teeth... and that's my kind of people.
