Default Should I or Shouldn't I

Hi guys New brewer here. So here's my situation I brewed an IPA last week and I have it conditioning right now. I want to get started on my next batch and I have this Heifewizen extract kit but only a bottling bucket. What I want to do is brew up this heif, ferment it in the bottling bucket for 2 weeks and then bottle strait from that. I heard heif's should be fine with only a 2 week primary. What do you guys think about my idea and the process?
Thanks for any input and advise

Take a breath and wait a week. You'll need that bottling bucket to bottle your ipa. Or just go out and get another primary.

I don't think it's a good idea for a couple of reasons:
1) The spigot area will be difficult to sanitize
2) You're going to get a lot of trub settling to the bottom of the bottling bucket. There will be no way to thoroughly mix priming sugar in your beer when it's bottling time without stirring up all the trub. The trub will make it into your bottles.

If you want to brew again before the first beer finishes, find a local source for 6 gallon buckets with lids. Bakeries and restaurants are often a good source. Once you find an extra bucket or two, drill a hole in the lid and insert a rubber grommet to hold your airlock.

Oh and welcome to the obsession.

Agreed, Go get another fermenter. You're gonna need to feed this obsession. I've found it's easier to keep a pipeline going when you've got multiple brews at different stages... and you're not so anxious to push a brew along, just because you need to use the fermenter to start the next one.

Ale pail is $10 to $15 depending on your LHBS. I have nine fermenters now. Trust me, you can never have too many, I have had them all full at once which is how I ended up with nine!

Welcome to HBT. I would recommend either waiting or picking up another bucket or Better Bottle. Don't try to ferment in your bottling bucket for the reasons already stated here.
