Ok...I made a 1.5 L starter...it was on my stir plate for 24hr..my plan was to put it into the refridgerator overnight then decant, and pitch into my wheat ipa, however, after overnight in fridge my starter still had a small layer of krausen and bubbles were still rising with only a small layer of yeast on bottom...it clearly wasent ready for a decant ,not wanting to throw away 1/2 my yeast I put it back on my stir plate warmed it up and pitched the whole thing....so my question is, how super is this stuff?..when I say overnight I mean 12 hrs, even during a cold shower those things are" randy"....how long should a starter be in fridge b4 decanting?...overnight has always been enough for previous batches..why not this stuff?.....Tom
