Hi all,
This is kind of an odd question, hopefully this is the right category for it.

I've looked absolutely everywhere for information regarding this, and I've finally given up. Anyone have and idea?

'In Illinois, is one able to manufacture, distribute, and sell bottled non-alcoholic sodas such as root beer from their home? If so, are there any permits, steps, or additional taxes invovled?'

Check with your town/city hall for starters. I'm sure there are regulations that would prohibit doing that without permits and some kind of health inspections.

It would probably be regulated by the health department in your county- I have a friend who makes barbeque sauce for sale, and she had to have a commercial kitchen and get inspected by the health department.
