Default Rice syrup solid

When using rice syrup solid; is it added to the mash or during boil? I'm thinking of a light beer for my girl friend.

I have never used it, but I cant imagine it would do you any good in the mash. I would add it to the boil.

It is added toward the end of the boil.

You might try a Mild instead.

You can brew 3 gallons of blonde, ferment it out and then dilute with 2 gallons of preboiled water. No rice necessary.

Well I guess it depends on what the girlfriend would consider "light". I've fooled coors light drinkers with a simple bonde recipe so I guess it's light enough.
