Default Rehash...

Sorry if I am covering old ground here, but what is the consensus regarding partially covering the pot during boil? I tend to leave mine partially covered, otherwise I lose a rolling boil. Also, for you scientific types out there, would I lose any more (or less) volume of my boil if I were boiling out in my garage at 40F or in the kitchen at 70F?

You are better off insulating the sides of your pot. I'll look for a link.
