I had a moment of clarity, and realised that several months ago when sealing my pressure barrel I forgot to add any priming sugar.
That being said, there was a very small amount of gas from some slow activity.
The beer which is ginger flavoured brown ale \ bitter is nice but flat.
I have been pouring half pint into a glass and adding half pint of very lively cold guniess out of the can to give "black and tan" with ginger.
It's most splendid!
