What is the best temperature for racking a pilsner?
I usually lager mine around 38F and they always come out very good. Most people use a range between 35-40F.
Racking is a term that means moving from one vessel to another, usually via a tube. Not sure how temperature would be critical.
Did you mean something else and just used the wrong word? Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to help.
I was on about racking. I was just unsure on temps.
When I rack off next week would I be best to keep it at the temp I have it now ( 15c)?
Thanks for the help
