Default Racked Lager to Secondary too Soon

I'm a beginning homebrewer. I am on my second Brewers Best Kit (Vienna Lager) before I move on to doing it without kits. Long story, but I completely misread the instructions. Brewing day was Feb 6. The beer went into an ale pail, the yeast was pitched, and it went into my garage which happens to be exactly within the range they suggest for primary fermenation 48-58 F.

For some idiot reason, I thought I was supposed to rack to the secondary glass carboy TODAY (Feb 9). There was bubbling in the airlock so I know fermentation was proceeding. I siphoned the beer into the secondary and placed it in my fridge. AFTER I had done this and sat down for a while I realized what I did and re-read the instructions.

I was supposed to have left the beer in primary for 2-3 weeks before racking to a secondary, which goes in the fridge for at least another 3 weeks or so before bottling.

I have read the threads titled "Do not dump your beer" so I'm going to proceed. I've transfered the carboy back to the garage and will see if any more bubbling occurs. Any other suggestions?

Hopefully, fermentation will restart. Try to keep it on the warmer side of the fermentation temperature range, to encourage the yeast to reproduce and get going. Not much else you can do at this point.

I'd suggest buying a hydrometer and using it before moving beer again! It's important to always check the SG of the beer before racking, no matter what the instructions say. If the beer's not finished, it shouldn't be racked. It can't help you now, but it can help next time!
