I was wondering what the best propane burner would be to make 5 gallon batches. Basically I'll be boiling around 8 gallons in a 10 gallon SS kettle.

Will a 54,000 BTU propane burner be good to use or is that too small?

This is the one I was looking at.

Is there a better one to use out there that is around the same price?

using two of those in my system...they have no problem bringing 15 gallons to a boil and holding...I highly recommend

I have a burner that is only rated at 33,000 BTU. I can get About 8 gallons in a keggle boiling in 20-30 minutes.
