Default Propain brewkettle

So I have an old 10gal propane tank and I was thinking it would make a good brew pot but my only concern is I think it's steel. Does anyone see a problem with using a non aluminum/copper/stainless steel kettle? I was mainly concerned with rusting.
PS: I am aware of the hazards of cutting the top off, I will take the necessary precautions.

Bad idea. It will rust.

Life is tough. It's tougher if you're stupid.
