Default priming...stirring...waiting?

I'm about bottle.... and I just put 1 cup of dextrose in my 5 gallons, and stirred it up.

Now should I wait for it to settle before bottling? And if so, how long?

No. Don't wait, bottle now. You stirred it gently right?

You should have dissolved the sugar in boiling water, then cooled it, then added to the bottling bucket.

The point is you want an equal amount of sugar in each bottle. Since you didn't dissolve it first, you might have to stir longer.

i did dissolve.... and stirred. I went ahead and bottled, hopefully it wont be too clumpy in the bottles. ha

I think next I'm gonna try to reuse the yeast. Just pour a new wort inside the carboy as some people have suggested.

Dissolve the dextrose in 2 cups of boiling water and let it boil about 5 min. Pour that into your bottling bucket and then transfer the brew into the bottling bucket. The swirling action of the brew going into the bottling bucket is usually enough to mix it all up. You should never stir it the action of the brew coming out of the hose is adequate to mix things up.
