Default Primary/Secondary time for Hefe Weizen

Have a Red clogging my secondary, and am planning an oatmeal stout in the coming weeks for the primary. In the mean time, I'd like to squeeze in a quick hefe weizen. Is it true what I've heard, that hefe's are quicker than most others and could move from primary to bottle rather quickly? Or should I just get another primary.... and stick with a good 3 weeks before bottling.

The doppel weizen I got from the local brewing store says it can be bottled from fermenting w/in like a week or two.

I commonly bottle my Hefe recipe after a 10 day primary and it's one of my most consistent and favorite brews
