Default Plate chiller.

Can they only be used with a pumped system?

Would this be any good for a simple AG system?

But I could do with a little more definative answer, the auction ends soon.

My thought is that I'd need a pump and I don't want to go that rought at present.

I don't see why that wouldn't work, it looks almost just like a shirron.
FWIW, I use my shirron with a "wort wizard" venturi pump, so NO, no electrical pump is needed.
