Do you realize that .8 gallons is 8.5 beers, IF you were able to lose absolutely no beer to trub loss? In reality you're making a 6 pack.
If you really did make a batch that small you wouldn't need much yeast at all, just a fraction of one pack, maybe 1/4 or less. So 2 grams sounds perfect.
You probably have your reasons for making a small batch, but consider the time and effort for the small return.
