First all grain batch today, I am so beat and tired. A lot more work than extract.
Anyway, I brewed a NB Chinook IPA today. Got it to 90*F and put it in fermenter. I then aerated it and let it sit outside carefully covered for 15minutes. It is 22*F outside. I got it down to 81-82*F and I was in a rush and wife was yelling, I just went ahead and pitched the yeast.
Did I kill my yeast off? I have a cold wet t shirt on it now to get it to 72*F
