Default partial mash grain percentage

How much grain is usually needed for a partial mash? 25%, 50%, 75%?

Is there a minimum?

I don't think there are any set rules for how much to partial mash. I go by what I am comfortable with and what my system is able to handle. I have been using around 4-5 pounds of grain along with the dme or lme

I use as much grain as necessary to hit my OG and use 3 lbs of DME. That means I need 5-6 lbs of grain with a 60-70% efficiency on the mash.

Thanks. I wasnt sure if I would see a marked improvement at one percentage vs another.
