Default

So I came home and the lid was popped off, I don't have any equipment for the blow off, so I put the airlock back on and it's bubbling alot! Will this mess up any alcohol content? If I washed alot of crap out of the airlock

shouldn't mess up anything if you can't do a blow off I would place the lid back on but not snap it down until the fermentation slows down and then snap it down
That way it if the air lock clogs again you won't have a potential beer shower over the walls and ceiling just the floor maybe
Should be enough co2 being created to form a blanket on top of beer

Ok what size tubing would I need for the blow off tube going on to the air lock?

i it would beat if food safe but I guess any port in a storm do you have an extra air lock you could take to store with you?

I don't have an extra air lock... But it's the one where the middle piece inside come off... So I'm reading 1/2 I. D. Does that sound right?
