Default Original specific gravity off.

I am brewing the AHS clone of Fat Tire and the gravity before fermenting was 1.06. It is supposed to approximately 1.051. I did add the 1% alcohol boosters during the boil if that makes a difference. This is my first batch of beer. Thanks for the help in advance! Also what should I expect with the gravity at 1.06 for my alcohol content to end up at?

Seems about right since you added the booster. It would be around 5% without it so it should be around 6% with the booster. Not sure why youd want to up the gravity of fat tire but mission acomplished.

It's my first batch. Hindsight is 20/20. It seemed like a good idea when I ordered it. I hope it doesn't change the flavor too much.
