Default Octoberfest question

I want to brew an octoberfest for October. When should I brew it so that it will be at its prime?

I brewed mine in April, it's still lagering but I'll probably bottle it soon. I'd get it brewed this month.

Depends on your recipe, I would imagine. Traditionally they brewed in March and lagered till October.

I've made biermunchers OctoberFast for a quick turnaround.

Yep, you're already a good bit beyond the traditional timeframe, but you can still get it done. Time to get hopping for sure, though.

Check out the priming sugar calculator and the beer calorie calculator.

Fermenting: nothing
Lagering: Swarthy Satyr (traditional bock)
Bottled: Royal Goblin (Hoppy Hobgoblin rendition), Treasure Type "T" (oatmeal toffee stout), Enchantress (big Irish red ale), Frostfire (Oktoberfest), Thundersmoke brown ale
