Default Need some help with my Porter...

Today marks the 1 week mark of pitching my yeast into my Porter wort in a 6 gallon glass carboy. Fermentation lasted about 36 hours, then the bubbles ceased. I am going to Australia for 2 weeks (leaving a week from tomorrow, so 2 weeks after the process began) so I will be getting back in the states 1 month after the fermentation started. Should I bottle my beer right before I leave (2 weeks after fermentation began) or should I leave it in the primary until I get back (1 month after fermentation began)????

All help appreciated!!

Chad

Many of us leave all our beers in primary for a month..there's tons of threads explaining why....

I think you should bottle only when you get back.

No worries... leave it in the primary until you get back. It will be fine.
