Default My worry was for naught

Well I cracked my milk stout and my black IPA after only 7 days. I was worried that the FG on both was high 1.026 and 1.030. But after tasting them wow. They are good. Even my wife liked the milk stout. The black IpA is very hoppy and an acquired taste but still dam good.

Hydrometer before I bottled. Milk est was 1.022-23 so wasn't too far off. IPA I added malto so it was going to be high. Need to start using starters though. Think IPA just didn't have the yeast juice. Still is good.
