Good to hear. I plan on washing the yeast from my Pale Ale.

i so wanted to try washing my yeast today as an experiment, but i didn't have stuff ready. that airlock is bumping at about 120 BPM, lol

You definitely need to plan ahead just to get the water cooled back down after boiling....trust me, don't try sticking the mason jars full of boiled water into a sink of cold water to speed up the process...it doesn't work lol!!! snap crackle and POP!
