Does anyone have any recommendatons for priming i.e add primer to bin or to bottles? quantities etc
What is the purpose of the finings?
My thinking is to add a bit of last minute depth to the beer

If you mean prime it and then put it in bottles, yes you can and should do this. It is much easier than putting primer in individual bottles.
Finings are to make your beer clear. Takes the protein haze out. Does not affect taste or body.
