Default Mr. Beer can make decent beer, but don't use BOOSTER

Just tasting my second batch of MB (whispering wheat from the deluxe refill section) while I wait for my first real 5 gallon batch, and I have to say it's pretty good. It's only been in the bottle one week (I know .... it needs three). I can still taste that it's green, but it tastes pretty awesome. It's almost like fat tire, in that it has that nutty/chocolate/malty taste. It does still have some of that green apple taste on the back end though. My first batch (WCPA) tastes horrible, but I am thoroughly impressed by this one. Just thought I'd share for everyone out there starting with mr beer .. it can make decent beer, but that booster stuff is horrible. Go for the deluxe or premium kits at minimum.
