Mold in the Extract!! What to do?? - Page 2

I got it about 3 1/2 weeks ago. It has been sitting in my fruit cellar which is 55-60 degrees right now. I didnt think that time frame and storage was unreasonable for extract.

The fact that some of the extract was loose in the shipping box i think it either wasnt closed tight or maybe came open during shipping. It wasnt canned extract it was in little plastic bucket.

The brew day was basically done so figured i have nothing to loose by seeing if it turns out.

Emailed the vendor to ask about a replacement.

Those are little mold spores i think as there is some white hairy fuzzy stuff on it too. There doesnt appear to be much in the extract itself mostly on the sides and the top.

What would you do? Continue the brew and hope for the best? Or cut my loses and dump it and try to get a replacement ?
