Default mini batch fermenter

Just heads up if anyone cares...I was shopping for some bulk storage canisters and came across a 2.5 gallon glass jar with metal (stainless I think) lid that seals with silicone. I imagine if you drill a hole in the lid for a stopper they would make an awesome mini-batch fermenter. $20 at Bed Bath Beyond and saw the same at Target as well.

Yes, but really easy dry hopping or fruit additions. Plus easier to clean. Just a thought though.
