Default Milkshake Stout-Rookie

Going to start a milkshake stout this weekend.... have one successful wheat brew under my belt so far..... Looking for any tips/suggestions on this type of batch? Thanks All

The quickest way to find information on milk stouts is to search on this forum - there is a ton of information: quick search.

I think that will empower you to ask very specific questions.

I just made a batch I call a "Chocolate Milk Stout", using this recipe: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/doub...-snout-126638/ as a base. I forgot the oats and added some lactose. It came out great and placed in a small competition.
