I did a wort beer kit. It has been in the secondary with a proper air lock in place for 5 weeks. Been super busy and kind of forgot about it. Any chance its still ok?
It is probably perfect. Just give it a good month to bottle carb.
You can go around 5 MONTHS in secondary witthout having to worry about weird off flavors from the yeast.
Try to keep in mind some russian imperial stouts are bulk aged for a year.
At 5 weeks, your beer is just fine.
