I am new to this all homebrewing thing, did my first batch a month ago and to my surprise it turned out quite ok, even with me adding 3 extra liters of water by mistake (a muntons porter, ended with less alchool than expected, but still ok).
Now I`m on my second batch, a muntons continental pilsner, but I did a mistake that it is worrying me a bit. My fermenter has a tap that I forgot open when I poured the malt. I noticed soon so little was lost, but what is worrying me is that some of that sticky malt will be stuck in the tap during the fermenting process. Can that contaminate the batch?
