Default Making Hard Cider: When to add the yeast enhancer?

I added the yeast enhancer at the same time as I put the un pasteriezed Cider into the carboy.

Should I have added it 24 hrs after along the yeast?

I hope I didnt mess anything up!

Yeast nutrients are dead, so it doesn't matter. Just don't add them after fermentation starts.

I know you need yeast nutrient for Mead, but did not know you needed it for Cider.

I've heard that most wines need nutrient addition to prevent stuck or slow ferments. Cider may fall in the same catagory.

Perhaps you could ask a Cider question over on the CIDER board?
