Default LME Life?

I searched for this but could not find it but I am sure it has been asked - sorry for that.

How long will LME last if i put it in the fridge (from bulk drums) - (light malt extract) I am only thinking 3-4 max is that to long - I will keep it in an air tight Tupperware as I am busy & have a hard time getting to the beer store & want to brew again in 3-4 weeks (brewing this weekend something else.) As I will be going the the beer store in the morning.

thanks

Bulk liquid malt extract should be used within 1 month of purchase.

I keep my LME in the fridge as well. I've left it in there for as much as 2 months before using it. Comes out fine.

I've had some that was left in the fridge for YEARS, it never went bad. I don't think I'd want to use it for a batch, but for starters, it's fine.

Most of the time,I have them in the fridge for no more than a week or two till I gather up all the ingredients.
