Just a quick question here. How long does a liquid yeast stay good after it is bought? I was going to go buy 3 extract kits to do over the next few weeks and I like to add the liquid yeast option but will those stay good for say up to a month? I was noticing the one pack of yeast I have in the fridge for a recipe wednesday was only manufactured 2 weeks ago, or pretty much when I bought the kit. I just don't live closer than an hour to anywhere with supplies so I would like to be able to buy everything I need for this month.

If you keep it in the fridge, it'll last for months & months. I know folks who have used tubes of White Labs yeast that were well over a year old. If you wait this long, though, you should definitely use a starter.
