Did an apple graff variation last night. I wanted something that had an apple taste but not all apple. Rather than 1 gallon beer and 4 gallons of apple juice I did 2 gallons of apple juice and 3 beer. the sample after chilling was exactly what I was hoping for .. now to ferment it out and add a little cinnamon.. if it turns out I will share the recipe. I did however. mash and run off way more wort than I needed and as soon as it started to boil i drained a couple of gallons off into sanitized quart jars..let em seal and stuck em in the beer fridge for starters.A little darker than what I would normally use but I crash and decant anyway

Interesting. Brewing TV http://brewingtv.com/episodes/2012/9/18/brewing-tv-episode-68-how-to-make-graf.html did something about Graf a few weeks ago. Interested how it turns out.
After watching the vid,I see it's like an apple stout according to brandon-o's recipe on here. It was taken from Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Reminds me of the electronic board game we used to have by the same name.
I've done lots of cider, and lots of beer. I tried Graff a few times, and concluded that I prefer a decent cider and/or decent beer rather than this hybrid.
It's a decent drink, but I didn't find it satisfying.
I tried a couple of times (maybe even 3), enjoyed the results, but have no intention to try again.
Try it, it is a decent drink, easy to make.
