Default Krausen stuck to walls

I have been fermenting my IPA brew for one week now and I popped the lid to check it out. I noticed that there was a layer of krausen formed, yet there was also some stuck to the bucket not touching the beer at all. I was wondering if I should knock it off and back into the beer or leave it alone. From what I read the krausen will eventually fall to the bottom? This won't happen with it stuck to the sides.. First time brewer

This is normal as far as I am concerned so I would leave it alone. Why risk causing an infection.

Just leave it.

We all worried about our first beers. Now we just forget about them for a few weeks, check the gravity, and bottle.

You had fermentation, so it will make beer.

It stays stuck to the sides. Nevermind it.
