Default Kolsch Fermentation - What's with the layers?

Hi,
I'm fermenting a Kolsch (extract kit) and my fermentation bottle has this lovely layer scheme going on ...

White tiny bubbles, Amber/Pale bubbles, and peachish/amber froth on top

What are the layers from? The previous brews only had one layer (just Krausen). I'm not worried, just wondering.

Thanks,
Dave

This yeast is a top-cropping yeast, so it looks layered like that. Some ale strains are, some are not, the ones that are watch out, they have a tendency to fill up the headspace and blowoff yeast if the fermentation gets really vigorous.

It's gotten a little bigger since that last picture. I'm glad it's a 6.5 gallon carboy.

Thanks for the info!
