Just moved to secondary, after 8 days, (2 of no noticeable activity), and my second carboy has a lot of room at the top. Is this okay? If not, what can I do about it? Or should I just relax?
The space will fill up with CO2 and push out the air. Your secondary is a 5 gallon carboy right? Not another 6 gallon? Either way, it will be fine. I haven't filled up a secondary to the top yet.
