If you work at, know someone who works at or has access to, a hospital go there and ask for any used Saline bottles. I used to get mine at the Emergency Room. They come in different sizes and work great as ice bottles. I use them all the time and have some that are almost 10 years old. Just remember to leave a couple of inches of air for expansion.

They use a thicker plastic than commercial product bottles and seem a lot sturdier. Plus they're free and come in various sizes.

Ah. I use leftover 2L bottles from talking rain, .5 liter bottles from expensive water, nalgene, and occasionally tupperware full of ice. All seem to work fine, but good suggestion.
