Just bottled my first batch. Thanks for all the informative threads.
I brewed some sort of stout that I bought off of my LHBS, with some vague instructions. I left it in the primary for three weeks. I took a swig of one of the uncarbonated, hot bottles and I was pleasantly surprised.
My next batch will be an IPA. I'm gonna stop by my LHBS to see what he's got in a not too bitter, but citrusy/fruity IPA and give that some time over the christmas break to ferment.
