My lager has been fermenting for one week. I did my first gravity check today and it read 1.010. I have been advised by brewers through this forum to leave my beer fermenting for 3weeks minimum. I have had a few temperature issues with the hot weather, however a cold towel dealt with this. I had a quick taste - the beer was reasonably palatable however very watery, sugary and fizzy. Is everything going to plan?!?
