Default Inconsistency

So my 3rd batch has been bottle conditioning for over 3 weeks... And I really like it but some bottles are noticeably sweeter than others...and the sweet ones have a weird aftertaste. If I just racked the beer in my bottling bucket on top of the priming sugar in thinking maybe it was unevenly mixed???

Can you explain the weird aftertaste a little bit more?

Sounds like they're conditioning in a cool spot. The bottles aroundthe outside of the container would be colder than the ones toward the center. They wouldn't carb as fast. What's the temp of the spot you have them in?

They were sitting in a box in my closet, but about 5 of the beers went in the fridge after about a week and Im thinking I may have grabbed them back out.
