I created a Monster!
 

So I was brewing up a batch the other day and I wanted to do something a little different. I've been drinking SMaSH's for a bit now, and have a couple recipes from here on the go. I was going to do another smash but I changed it up. Here's what I brewed for a 5g batch, (all ingredients were on hand)

1lb Carastad
1/2 lb wheat
1 lb munich

1 oz cascade @ 60m
1oz Williamette @ 30
1 oz Sazz @ 5
Added 3.3 lbs or so LME
and 2 lb DME
and as I finished I spotted a litre os sucrose so in it went.
Chilled cooled and put in 7.5g Nottingham

Um, the OG was 1.070! I intended to make a light batch but just kept tossing stuff in. What have I created?!?!? I guess we'll find out in a few weeks!

Sounds... um... interesting?!

Should be interesting; is the Saaz really at 50 min, or 5 min?

:) 5, fixed it. I just tossed stuff in the pot as I walked around. Bubbling like crazy!

looks like a strong pale ale to me. hopefully it wont be too hot, but if it is just let it age for a bit.
