Gentlemen,

I was wondering (noob again) what is the right amount of priming sugar to use when bottling?

When I bottled my first partial batch (rest went into a secondary) I kind of interpolated from what I found on the net and went with 2oz in 10 litres of beer. I'm using corn sugar powder from the local HBS. I'm brewing a pilsner (Mutton I believe is the brand) that I got from the HBS and want something similiar to american beer for my first attempt.

My bottling bucket holds 12 litres, is there a formula to determine the right amount of sugar to use?

Thanks in advance for your infinite wisdom.

Thaks Scott, exactly what I needed. Looks like I went a little light on the sugar. Hope my batch will be OK.
